ANIMAL DETECTIVES HIKE

Are you curious about what animals do during the winter? We don’t seem to notice them as much, but we can find evidence that they’re busy. With a dusting of snow, we might find fresh tracks or even some scat that might tell us what an animal has eaten. During this time of the year with the trees bare, we can also better observe some of the places that animals make shelter. Join a naturalist for a hike in the forest and investigate clues that will tell stories of winter survival.
Please wear sturdy footwear and weather appropriate outdoor clothing.
