Explore the Sensory Garden
Did you know studies have shown that Sensory Gardens have therapeutic benefits, particularly for children and adults with special needs? The Bartlett's sensory garden takes visitors on a tour via our five senses by designing each raised bed to place emphasis on sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste.
From the wafting lavender to snappy peas, from rustling grasses to chiming bamboo, this garden tour is sure to inspire your curiosity and green thumb!
Join UCONN Master Gardener and herb garden founder, Linda Albanese and Master Gardener Annea Rosenberg for a tour of our newest garden, the Sensory Garden.
This garden is designed to permit wheelchair access and other accessibility concerns.
