Houseplants Unplugged!

Program led by: Renowned Gardener - Tovah Martin

Tovah Martin is an author and lifelong major advocate for houseplants and indoor gardening. Now more than ever, we’re discovering the critical role that plants and nature play in our lives, especially when we’re confined indoors. And here’s the clincher: You can grow houseplants beautifully, artistically, and creatively in your home. In answer to COVID concerns, this live outdoor presentation allows the audience to social distance.

In this live lecture, Tovah brings her own robust, beautiful houseplants to demonstrate how plants work in specific spaces. We discuss design techniques and speak about how containers, combinations, and décor all speak together in this new expression of style. We’ll link with participants to recommend plants for their individual lifestyles/conditions/ and personality. We’ll address issues and provide answers. Indoor gardening is a topic whose time is now.

Health and Safety: All registrants are required to bring a face mask and wear it when unable to social distance. Social distancing should be followed at all times. Hand sanitizer will be provided.

Connecticut has restricted travel for several states. If you plan to travel out of state within the 2 weeks prior to the program, please consult the following link to determine if you should self-isolate upon your return. All guests that attend will be required to sign a covid release waiver.
